Area map

Sunderland has appointed a coordinator to provide more flexible and coordinated support for adults with multiple and complex needs in Sunderland. The work is overseen by a sub group of the adult safeguarding board to ensure the MEAM Approach can be adopted City-wide and embedded into contracts. A multi-sector operational group with a range of partners from criminal justice, housing, mental health and substance misuse is committed to working closer together to meet the needs of the individuals.
